Why won't my brother let me go out with his friend? I have a crush on his friend, but my bro said no.

i don't understand why now. I really like this guy, and he's super nice my bro said that he wouldn't let me go out with him because that's his friend, and his friend wouldn't do that cause there friends. I'm actually really mad. what could do about it? I'm 18, and my bros friend is 22. my bro said there's no chance at all ill go out with him because his friend wouldn't date me because there buddies. I don't understand! what could I do guys? I really really like him.

I am the little sister as well and by not that many years either. It drove my brother nuts when his friends would come over and pretty much want to hang with me, rather than him. I saw how much this upset my brother, so I ended up being snotty to them, so that they would leave me alone. I later asked my brother why it bothered him so much and he told me that his friends are dogs and it would kill him to think his friends would think about me or treat me in that same way. The thing about brothers is that they will always be your #1 protector and they will ALWAYS have your best interest at heart. Listen to your brother.

Ok so lets say you do date the buddy. Say you get serious with him and the relationship lasts six months. And then it ends badly. And now your brother is stuck in the middle of a shitty situation. It's like dating someone you work with, it's just not a good idea. Plus if the guy hurts you your brother is going to be freakin pist and is either going to lose his friend over it or be mad at you because he told you not to date him in the first place, or both. You just shouldn't put your brother in that situation. It's not cool.
