Is it normal to still think of HER every day?

So I was talking to/dating this girl on and off for about a 2 1/2 years. (look at my past questions if you want in depth info on it) but long story short she would turn her feeling about me on and off like a light switch. One month shed be all about me, the next shed be very distant and we'd stop w/e we had. Eventually we got into a fight and went almost a month of no contact. When we did start speaking again, she got all mushy about how much she missed me, we hung out and hooked up a few times but it turned out she was talking to someone else at the time and when push came to shove she chose him over me. I've since then got myself a girlfriend who I love and care for very much, but even with all the bullsh*t that went on between us,Ii still think about my ex almost every day...Is this normal? At times I think about contacting her, but the thought quickly leaves my mind because I know it would not be cool with my girlfriend and I wouldn't want to jeopardize my relationship. So is this normal? Will it pass? SHOULD I find a way to contact her (I deleted her number and have no contact with her through social media). I'd just like some feedback or input.

how long has it been with not contact? 2.5 years is a long time, and the brain stores that. It will go away, eventually. Considering how your ex was to you, it's likely it will linger a while.

Your best bet is to tell he memory to f*** off. Kick her out of your mind.

It's normal. And the memories of some people can't be erased whether we try to do so or not. Trust me on that. Despite the fact you have a girlfriend, your ex did still maintains an important part in your life, and that's why you think of her everyday. Best to keep her as a friend at least so you won't jeopardize your current relationship.

its normal. but I think you need closure. you should contact her as a friend and get some answers and find your closure. ask her if she has feelings for you and what she is up to in life...
