Why do girls always run back to their ex?

I'm sorry but its going to be kind of long that way you can see where I'm coming from...So I met this girl one night through a group of friends.Went to a party and she was there.We talked she danced all over me we ended up making out a little and I drove her home and kissed her goodnight.We ended up texting all night.within that week we started to date.Things were amazing,i couldn't of asked for a better girl.Then things started to get really old.She didn't work,she got a job and quit it.She just didn't want to work,she didn't want to go to school.she didn't want to do anything really but party.Her ex boyfriend and her that's all they did.So I just got fed up with it one day and told her to go that I can't take it anymore.So she runs right back to her her ex boyfriend who goes to school in Ohio.Ends up hooking up with him for the weekend and coming home.Then calls me crying saying she's sorry blah blah blah.We like an idiot I took her back.Things were fine again and then bam I just couldn't take it.i told her she was worthless she doesn't want to do anything with her life.she is 20 and is going no where.Pretty harsh of me,i know...wish I would of just talked to her about it.but it was just all bottled up.So once again she runs back to her ex.This guy has cheated on her quite a number of times.lied to her about girls all the time.just didn't really care and was a total piece of garbage in everyone's opinion.well of course she was still seeing me on the side of him.i was fine with it at first because I loved her and was trying to make things work.Well about 3 months later they break up because she says the feelings aren't there for him anymore that she loves me and cries about me often.So for about a month we try to work on us well one night I was completely drunk and jokingly said a couple things about hooking up with another girl.she didn't like that stopped talking to me completely and once again ran back to her ex...lol.i know its sounds crazy and I know you guys are wondering why do I even still like her.The truth is I don't know.there is just something about her I adore and can't get past it.she has been dating this guy for a little over a month again and I believe currently lives in Ohio or stays down there with him most of the time...what do I do.just give up...move on and worry about me.try and talk to her.but then again why do I want to be number two.see this guy doesn't care about what she does at all.in fact she says she loves being with him because its like she's single.and she loves the freedom.its like her pays for her alcohol gets her drunk occasional hook up then she's home to me.we haven't talked in over a month now and I don't blame on contacting her what so ever.just kinda confused...why do girls go from guy to guy within a day?sorry its so long

Emotions are tyrants for women: every time you upset her, she is going to look for some kind of comfort regardless of where it is and regardless of how destructive it is. Unfortunately, she seems to generally find it at her ex's. But this doesn't surprise me. All the modern talk about how great women are and how they are just as good as men in everything has blinded a lot of young people to what men have generally always known: young women cannot control their emotions. It's as simple as that. Furthermore, I'd imagine this girl is pretty young and probably very immature. She can't hold a job and only has partied so she's a little spoiled too. A lot of women are like that these days: they are given everything their whole youth and can't commit to anyone or anything. So that's why she keeps running to her ex: if you're not providing her comfort and babying her, then she'll find it somewhere else.

Yea....i haven't talked to her in about 3 months.i miss the girl alot.our relationship was on a whole different level.we didn't party and all that.it was like I knew the real her which hurts the most now.But I mean what can you do,i tried everything to get her back.but it truly does seem like she just wants everything handed to her and to live the whole party life up.well I've always had responsibilites and bills so I'm not changing that for anyone.just kinda feel alone now.just wanna give up girls

Well why would you want to go out with a girl that keeps her options open for other guys? How do you even know she isn't going out with a couple of other guys at the same time as going out with you? I think in most cases girls don't go back to their ex. If they do then it's because they have had something going on the whole time whilst you been going out.

well...girls are VERY sensitive and well she sound overly sensitive for a girl and that is saying something. and she is probably just as confused and frustrated about not knowing what she's going to do as you and partying is her way to forget don't be so hard on her. Well if you like her as much as you say good luck it's going be hard work keeping this sensitive chick!

Dont kno....just seemed like everything I did was wrong everythin I said was wrong.one mintue we were workin on us then the next we were just friends I can do whatever I want.seems kinda like where she just runs to where ever she can to get everything she wants easy as possible you kno.I mean I have responsibilities and have had to pay for everything myself.her on the other hand gets everything given to her and its like she wants that in a guy.and I just wasnt cool with that but the other guy is.

I think maybe she just hasn't had enough relationship experience or doesn't realize it and she's like ok maybe he's changed

sad fact is, time passes, but some people change very very few traits about themselves

Yea....dont really know either.she was a great girl but needs some growin up to do.everyday just can't be a party.Growing up comes with responsibilites and she hasn't realized that yet.i mean I really miss her a whole lot.but like I said the new guys partys with her and lets her do whatever so obviously I can't compare....dont really kno what to do
