My fiance calls me by his ex wife's name?

Is it unfair for me to react negatively when my fiance calls me by his ex wife (also baby mama)'s name? It's usually when he's exasperated with me but it still gives me a pause. I have a feeling he's still not very sure about what he wants. Or maybe its because his ex won't let him talk to his daughter?

I think you have every right to be upset by it. If my boyfriend called me by his ex girlfriends name, I would get really angry at him. It would make me think I reminded him of her, or he wishes he was with her instead of me.

I think you need to have a talk with him about it. Tell him it upsets you and you don't want him to do it anymore. ask him how he would feel if you called out your ex boyfriends name while you two are having sex, he wouldn;t like it, so why should you have to put up with him calling you by her name.

He needs to be more considerate of your feelings. If its only happened once or twice, then I guess that's not so bad. But if it happens again and again even after youve told him you don't like it, then you need to set him straight.

You deserve better than this. No matter what's going on with his ex/daughter, it doesn;t give him the right to upset you when you havn;t done anything

At least its not happening when he tells you "I love you(insert ex name here)"

or when you are having sex!

It seems to happen when he is annoyed at you or arguing, he probably had soooo many fights with his ex that whenever he feels angry he goes into the same zone he used to be with her and suddenly her name gets blurted out. He has associated that particular negative feeling with her over time, maybe its a good thing. He probably tries real hard not to get angry with you and he has not accosiated you and stamped your name into a particular negative feeling. That negative feeling still belongs to her. Might actually be a good thing if you think about it.

Since you guys probably don't argue or fight so much, its going to take a long time before he can get angry with you properly...lol.
