Also, would he get in trouble cause I'm still in high school? Or does that not matter?
Thank you!
Definitely not weird.. Just know that he is 23 and trying to move on with his life.. with that being said, if you two become serious and very close.. be aware that he will ask for you to move in with him.. he's 23 and probably looking to settle down. Just know that the topic will come up in the future.
I'm eighteen and my boy friend is 21.. we've been together for just over a year and he asked me to move in with him after I graduated. (I'm graduated now) I of course.. moved in with him. We're doing really great! But of course.. as the women in the house I do laundry and clean up after him.. we do dishes together though.. So I guess that's a good thing..
Anyways.. What I'm getting at is.. if your gonna be with an older guy.. be willing to settle down :)
Thank you, this was really helpful. :)
That's the difference between my fiancé and I. I started dating him a few months after I started college so I was 18. It doesn't matter if you're still in high school since you're considered a consenting adult according to the law.
No. It is not weird at all, y'all are both adults it's fine. BUT you said you are in high school so that makes it like a little odd but not rare it happens often.
Not at all. Age of consent is 18. But that age difference does matter as long as you two understand each other. Hopefully you two sorted that out already =P
nope. you're off to college pretty soon anyways. he already knows whats in for you in a couple months so you got the home field advantage.
What do you mean by home field advantage?

No because you're both legal. I prefer my age to a year older, but I met this cute 23 year old hunk when I was only 18, and he would have been a definite exception to the rule lol :)
It's not weird.
You will not get into trouble, if you are over 17
I have dated a few girls with the age range you describe, and it was good for both of us.
No. Not at all, give love a chance, love should not be limited by age.
Besides, 5 year gap is nothing
Oh, Please. We've got 20-25 year old supermodels dating rich 70 year old guys. Your relationship isn't weird xD.
When I was 19, I had a relationship with a 23 year old woman. Made a big mistake though.
I've been an 18 year old guy dating a 23 year old woman.
Not at all... if you're above the age of consent in ur country, then u two can legally date.
A little weird. Be careful with him, there might be a reason why he can't get with older girls.
Yeah I have been considering that. It makes me a littler nervous too. He's had 2 girlfriends that were his age and one was for around 6 months and the other was for 2 years. He used to coach my cross country team and we ran into each other a few months back and we've been texting/talking ever since and he asked me on a date. I'm kind of hesitant. :p
Just don't let him pressure you into anything, and make sure you know what he actually wants before you commit
No you are legal so I don't see what's the big deal
No, same generation.
Age-gap to me is inter-generational.
Not weird, but be wary of his intentions.
No I think that age difference is fair :)
Not really. You are both young adults
When u turn 19 itll be okay 8 guess
