"You think we can't be alpha because we're short"
img.pandawhale.com/...WHAT-gif-Oblivion-I-wDog.gif
What do I (kheserthorpe) know. I'm 6'3". I get girls who like tall guys, because it's one of my advantages. You know, most girls would like a guy who is tall, hot, strong, athletic, famous, cool, popular, plays a musical instrument, sings well, dresses well, dances well, has money, is good with kids and his parents, is tough when required and can make them laugh.
That guy, however, is taken.
So they go after guys who have the traits they care about the most. Different girls, different traits. Some girls like guys who are tall, funny and smart, and I have a shot at them. Others like guys who are muscular and good looking... sounds like you have a shot with them. Be the best version of you that you can be, and lots of girls will want you.03 Reply- +1 y
Well, will that make me the type of guy women drool over when I enter a room?
- +1 y
Some women. Women vary more than men do in terms of what they find hot. So if you are good looking, fit, dressed well, good presence, than the girls who don't care about height will be drooling over you. And plenty don't care much about height.

Nice, thanks man. :)

One of my friends is 5'8, same height as me and he is the ideal alpha male. Literally every girl wants him and many say he's one of the best looking guys they have ever seen. He's a tank and him being short never stopped him from getting any girl he wanted. Whenever he's in a relationship, he continuously cheats yet the girlfriends never leave him. Many girls with boyfriends have secretly slept with him without their boyfriends knowing.

Alpha males? Yes

What do you mean?

Most girls are more attracted to guys taller than they are. Like me. I wouldn't find you super sexy. Your attitude also being one problem.
- +1 y
Why wouldn't you find me super sexy, assuming everything else is in order? What's wrong with my attitude?
- Opinion Owner+1 y
You are very short compared to me and even though I may think some short guys are cute or good-looking, they don't turn me on.
Well, you seem full of yourself, maybe because you sre insecure about something you feel the need to boast. - +1 y
I'm not insecure at all. I've always had this attitude--even when I was taller than everyone I knew back in elementary and middle school. It has nothing to do with insecurity--just a lot of prenatal testosterone.
What can I do to make my height irrelevant, then? I already wear two inch lifts + arch supports to make me 5'10, and my getting leg lengthening in France next year to add 3-4 inches. - Opinion Owner+1 y
That is stupid. You are desperate and obsessed -> turn off.
I would most never find you attractive. The end. - +1 y
That's fine. I really don't care if you would ever find me attractive. That isn't my question.
My question is, assuming height is the only controlling factor, could a guy who is 5'7 ever be the physically attractive alpha male to women.
I don't understand your hostility. - Opinion Owner+1 y
Lol. You are not the sharpest tool in the shed.
- +1 y
Of course I am. I got a 36 on the ACTs. In all probability, I'm smarter than you.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
That doesn't prove anything. You are book smart.

I have answered it. Funny how you still haven't realized that with your 36 ACT points.

What was your answer? Where did you answer it?

being alpha is all about standing out, and
above the rest.
Women, as well as females from other species
will typically take the one, they deem superior
in that regard, your height and looks, is irrelevant.
So, yeah.. a guy your height can be "alpha"
Hmm.. it's like the "alpha male" is the person (or animal)

Lol you know being an alpha has to do with a leading personality and a confident charisma right?
Muscles and height have nothing to do with that.
alpha male is just a stupid "stereotype" that makes some males feel insecureif they don't fit in this category. be yourself and don't try to look like "that"
01 Reply- +1 y
I am a natural alpha male personality wise, though. I'm just wondering if I can actually be seen that way.
Well, it might not be possible to be the sexy guy that girls drool over in the bar, because that is based solely on appearance and mannerisms, which can only take you so far with your stature.
But you can bet your ass that a short guy can be an alpha male. Height has nothing to do with it.11 Reply- +1 y
I'm strong as fuck. Stature can suck it.
- Anonymous(25-29)+1 y
You can be successful, but you'll always be at a disadvantage and if there's a guy equal to you except for being 6ft plus, he'll dominate you. Consider insoles.
112 Reply- +1 y
I'll kick his ass.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
That won't win you any points with the girls, it'll just make you look like an insecure douchebag, girls are quick to label shorter guys with Napoleon complexes and that's game over for you.
- +1 y
Then what do I do? Because I sure as hell ain't taking second place to anyone in the dating game. Period.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
There's not much you can do about it if you want to be the best of the best, but if you're insanely dedicated you can get leg lengthening surgery. I'd advise against that though, it's extremely expensive and potentially dangerous (as in crippling you for life dangerous.)
Insoles are cheap, safe and effective and can give you a couple of inches, get to 5'9/5'10 (average height for US) which will make things much better for you. - Opinion Owner+1 y
won't get to 6ft plus with that though (without looking silly)
- +1 y
I'm already getting leg lengthening surgery next summer with Dr. Jean Marc Guichet.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
How tall will you end up?
- +1 y
About 5'11 after the first surgery.
- Opinion Owner+1 y
That's good, huge improvement over 5'7, is it worth the pain, money and risk? That's for you to judge. But while being 6ft plus is more advantageous, pushing leg lengthening that far for you is beyond stupid.
5'11 with insoles will get you past 6ft though (preferably 6'1-6'2), then you're essentially set. Good luck, it'll hurt like a motherfucker. - +1 y
I can just go back for second surgery for about 2.5 inches after the first one. 2.5 inches isn't that much, especially on the femur bone.
You think I'd suffer any stiff completion from 6'3-6'4 guys if I'm 6'1 myself at that point? - Opinion Owner+1 y
I don't recommend a 2nd surgery, it'll be even more risky than the first, you'll lose out to a lot more competition if you're crippled. Besides, you want to keep your proportions as good as possible.
Possibly, but not nearly as much as a lower height, once you get to 6'1 most girls (mostly being much shorter than that) usually can't even tell the difference. (I'm 6'2 and no girl has ever guessed it right because once you get high enough it's hard for them to judge, I get judged to be much taller than I really am. 6'4+ even.) It has the same dominance/protection effect on them. Most 6'1+ guys are skinny/lanky anyway. You'll be good, it's not about being the tallest in the room, it's about making girls feel small and weak, making them feel feminine and 6'1 is already perfect for that, a few extra inches won't do much. (unless the girl is your height) Not like going from 5'7 to 5'9, that's a completely different story, hope you get what I'm on about.
Trust me I'm 6'7" 220lbs and single as f*** size has little to do with your game with most women!!! If you've got what women are int

00 Reply Your small man syndrome is going to drive women away. Chicks dig confidence, not overcompensation and aggressive insecurity.
29 Reply- +1 y
"Small man" syndrome doesn't exist.
- +1 y
Please point out a single psychologist who believes that "small man syndrome exists". It isn't in the DSM V for a reason, pal. Pop psychology doesn't cut it.
I'm not even small. I'm like 210 at 20% bodyfat. I'll be about 180 lbs at 7% bodyfat. I don't know how that can be considered "small". - +1 y
The DSM-5 is irrelevant (and widely criticised). It's one of many tools attempting to define mental disorders. It is not, nor does anyone claim it to be, an exhaustive and comprehensive compendium of the entire human psyche.
Short man syndrome is an inferiority complex focused on lack of height. The fact that you suffer a sense of inferiority over your height is patently obvious from your own words. - +1 y
Great! Then name me a few psychologists, preferably tenure professors, whom agree with you. I fucking dare you, pal.
Now, I don't think I'm being insecure, per se; I'm realizing that the world, especially dating, is incredibly biased against short men (even though short guys can't really do anything about their heights). So, of course a short guy is going to need to "compensate" the same way a blind guy in the Olympics is going to have to compensate for his lack of vision by using his other senses. - +1 y
Again, I'm not small. I have more muscle and strength than you or any guy 6'0+ who's not Mariusz Pudzianowski, Bennie Magnusson, Big Z, or Konstantinovs.
- +1 y
You're under 5'7", weigh over 200 pounds, pump iron like crazy, obsess over body builders, insist that you can beat up any guy over 6', wear lifts, and claim to be having leg extension surgery.
Classic Napoleon complex. Totally overcompensating for massive insecurity. Everything you say reinforces my point that your attitude is what turns women off, not your height. - +1 y
I've been working out since I was 12 years old--when I was the tallest kid in my class. And who ever mentioned Bodybuilders?
This whole idea of a Napoleon complex is akin to angry black man disorder. It would be like telling a black man in the Deep South during the roaring 20s that he has a complex over his skin color because he wants to be white and treated normal.
I'm not saying I can beat up tall guys because I'm insecure; I've been practicing krav for six years. I wrestled when I was one of the tall kids in my elementary in 3rd grade. My height doesn't meant shit, pal, why won't you understand that?
Still, you didn't ever answer my question. How do I acheive the goal of being more physically attractive than tall guys and be the alpha male?
If anything, the only thing I ever started working out and practicing krav for was to have some release from the stresses of Aspergers. People and women would ignore me and give me shit due to my social skills, so after many fights and - +1 y
rejections, I got really bitter towards people and made solace in improving myself physically--something that is way simpler than women and people. The fact that I ended up 5'7 when both my parents are taller than me didn't really have anything to do with anything.
