I don't. I probably should, and I'm sure it's 100% okay for girls to ask the guys on the second date I'd encourage that, actually. Go for it!
I just take a while before I stop feeling convinced that someone hates me, so I only start initiating dates after he's outright asked me to be his girlfriend.
