It is their fault mostly. Why? because, the continue to believe the stupid-ass media. It takes common sense to understand that negative stereotypes are not the case always. If that were the case there are white serial killers like "Ted Bundy" who made women fall into his trap.
They didn't avoid him thinking "oh he looks like a rapist or pervert". He was so clean in luring women to his trap.
It shows girls have no common sense. They just suck up to media. Girls are a mediocre in most cases nowadays.

I get what you're saying here. But we can't FORCE them to be attracted to us, right? Believe me, I have sometimes felt the same as you. But now I don't, because there's no point. No matter how unfair it is, or how much ever we complain, girls are simply NOT attracted to men of my ethnicity. So why waste energy feeling bad or bitter about it?

2 reasons
First, it's the portrayal of Indian men by the media. We are considered to be ugly, dirty and perverted, although only a small handful of us fit this stereotype.
Second is the vastly different culture we have here, compared to most other countries. This makes some Indian men behave inappropriately when they interact with women from liberated countries. It's not that these men are 'bad', but they have no knowledge about proper etiquette.

Due to the above two reasons, women simply write all Indian men off, even if some of us don't fit the negative stereotypes associated with us.

How do Non-Indian girls generally react when you make eye-contact with them or smile?

I haven't interacted much with non-Indian girls. Whenever I did though, I never tried making eye contact or smiling at them in a way that implied I was interested. I didn't want to creep them out.

In general, non-Indian women have been nicer to me than Indian women, but it was just professional or friendly interaction. Nothing romantic.

Dude. Have confidence. Forget about what girls think. Have this " I don't give a fuck" attitude , when you mingle with people and be nice. But don't be cocky. Just calm, composed and confident. Girls will definitely see a difference if you feel this way.

Same thing with other races. Some women don't have preference for "white" men, some don't have preference for "Asian" men, some don't have preference for "Black" men, some don't have preference for "hispanic" men , some don't have preference for "Polynesian" men, some don't have preference for "Middle-Eastern" men.

So every guy from different racial background, is going to have a hard time attracting certain girls for his looks. But a cool personality can win a girl past looks anytime.
