We as farm kids learn at a young age how to do basic math in our heads (not on a calculator), hard work, animal care and health (which relates to humans), machinery, driving skills, patience, and the ability to problem solve. Farmers and farm kids are often times the driving force of a community.

Oh, and many farm kids grow up to be veterinarians, doctors, and have a higher education than your average American.

I know this because I was raised on a dairy farm.
