Does your boyfriend poop with the door open?

My boyfriend has been staying with me for two weeks temporarily. We have been dating for about 4 months. He just started pooping with the door open. I live alone I don't really care but is this normal in a relationship?

Mine doesn't but that's because my sister's room is right next to the bathroom. He really doesn't care if I walk in while he's doing his business though.
