I'm 6'2" and have been with women from 5'11" to 6'1". You are not that tall and maybe these men don't look at you as threatening as they would with a woman 5'9" and above.
The problem could be that you just live around a lot of short people. Do you see a lot of tall guys in your area

I have the opposite situation. I'm quite tall yet I seem to really attract very short girls.(Like 4'11-5'3) and I actually do prefer a girl that's a little taller than average (5'7-5'10).
However if it really comes down to it I don't give too much of a shit about height.
I think it's kinda opposite, tall guys fall for short girls a lot. I'm 190 cm and my girlfriend is 158 cm

You're taller than the average woman, so you're going to have problems in that department. Maybe try and move to a city with taller men on average.
