Is a guy serious about dating you if he still checks his dating profile every day?

So I met a guy online and have hung out with him every day for a 9 days now, and we have been intimate also (every day since our 3rd date). It already seems like we have known each other for a while, and he told me he wants a comitted relationship. I know everything is fresh and new so I dont expect him to stop looking or dating, but... well, the other day, he was showing me a video on his phone, and I couldn't help but notice at the top of his phone were notification icons from 4 different dating websites. I disabled my profile by then, but it made me curious. So I reenabled my profile and checked after a couple dates (we see each other for at least 4 hours at a time) and he got online as soon as i left each time. I gave up checking after two days and disabled my profile again because it just felt like spying and I dont want to jump to conclusions or bring it up with him because it's way too early for that. But when we hang out, his phone pings every 5 minutes and he always gives it a quick check. I really like him and I don't want to ruin anything... I guess I'm just wondering if this means maybe he is not as into me as I am into him? Or is it normal for guys to keep browsing for a while? Thanks for everyone's responses and help I appreciate it.

I just want to thank everyone for their kind and understanding responses. I spoke to him a bit today and he told me he is talking to 2 other girls and that he is still active on multiple dating sites. I was happy that he is being honest with me, but still I wonder if this means I am not exactly what he is looking for since he's still dating others. He says I am the most serious one, though, since we have hung out every. Any thoughts? Thank y'all again for your help

You need to open up more communication with him
and talk to him about things such as him being on other
dating sites , he could be a player you don't know but
you deserve the right to know or not what type of guy
he is like cause i believe if he cares he would be off
of other dating sites and concentrate on you and him.

Thank you so much for your response... would you consider him to be a player if he admitted he is talking to 2 other girls? Granted we have only been dating a week, and it seems as though most of his time has been given to me although I can't be positive

You're very welcome.. It's hard to say he's a player but there stands a great chance
if he continues to want talk to other girls, i don't think he's ready to settle down
and also maybe he's not sure of himself is what it seems like too.

He is starting to give off the player vibe honestly... I was skeptical about dating online because I figured guys use it to meet a lot of different girls, and dating a guy who has that many profiles just doesn't sit well with me. Which is unfortunate because i truly do like him and enjoy spending time with him, and want to pursue a relationship with him but am still weary of doing so.

Yeah i would follow whatever your heart tells you. It sounds like he could
possibly be a player and or he doesn't want to settle down with you i wish
i could say online dating isn't let down but I've come across so much from
online dating and let downs myself that is why I always watch what girl
i communicate with cause i want something that is for real and i want
a committed relationship. I hope this works out for you and wish you best.

well I was in a same situation last year , and I thought the same so not to jump on conclusions I told my Bestfriend to spy on him and she did then I got to know that he was cheating if the guy is really into you then he shouldn't be on any dating apps especially if he wants it to be a committed relationship ! I met my guy online. After we started dating, which was after a month, we mutually agreed on deactivating our accounts. We had a talk about that to keep things clear and out in the open. I suggest you talk to him about this as well. You need to ask where your place is.

I think he has to decide who he likes most. I mean, before all kinds of feelings get involved (which is too late already I think). Talk again and ask him to make a choice.
