Is there any way to tell if someone's Tinder profile is active?

My boyfriend said he was off of Tinder, but my friend came across his profile so apparently he didn't delete it. Is there any way to tell if he's still using it?

So, I had a hot friend of mine that he doesn't know 'super like' him. He hasn't responded yet. That's a good sign right? Cause he would've been notified if he still had the app? I'm thinking of just telling him that I saw his profile & I'd like for him to at least 'hide' it

Eventually if you don't use tinder it takes you out of the roster, it takes a while though. There is a setting to take you out of the roster without completely deleting the app so there's no reason he shouldn't have that active.

He probably is. It has a system ti filter out inactive profiles the less you use it the less you are shown to oeo people. Have her supeike hom and ask him if he's dtf. If he's on there he'll respond.

Or not... Long story short I had a friend make a fake account and she swiped till she found my girlfriend abd talked to her. I had been on tinder looking for her and came across her account I suspecting something was wrong and it turned out it was.

It's not insecurity cause having a tinder profile shows someone is at least looking to cheat. They can always be hidden or deleted. It's not hard to make a new one. I don't cheat, therefore I'm not ok with any thing other than faithfulness

@Paultripps Well I agree with you totally... but the problem is that your "way" is simply no longer efficient. Women simply have too many options and can monkey branch just like that. The smartest thing for a guy to do nowadays is to simply also be able to monkey branch as well.

Case in point: the girl I am talking to right now has a boyfriend and yet she's openly sleeping with me. She admitted to me that her boyfriend is kinda boring but she wants both good sex and the feeling of stability. Would I commit to her should her relationship dissolve? Nope. But will I freely sleep with her? Yep.

I see your point but to me it does matter - it shows intent. Why not just delete it? And I can't be certain that he's not using it. Yes, I know 'trust' but girls that are being cheated on get told to trust to. He should've deleted it, so there would be no issue. And for people we know to see him on there, makes me look bad

I think it's shows up for swiping if tinder has been on recently. tinder won't show inactive accounts

If you delete the app your profile will still be up just won't get any messages or notifications untill you sign back into it if you delete it i think its done but there's also a feature were you can hide your profile so it can't be seen by others he probably just deleted the app
