Guy friend asked me out... but I don't like him?

There's one of my guy friends who asked me on a date. Now things are awkward. He's my only friend in one of my classes... and to be quite honest I'm totally creeped out now.

What would you do in this situation? Is it okay to just ignore him, and just to stop sitting by him?

Politely reject his offer and let him know that your not interested in him in that way. You dont have to date him or go out with him. You know that you don't see him in that way so speak up your mind. If he is understanding and a true friend he would stick around. But if he walks then it says a lot. Either he can handle not having feelings for you or he's upset he can't get what he wants. Only you know who he is. His reaction will say a lot. Don't ignore him. But don't say you need more time when you already made up your mind, be sure, because now it will lead him on.

If you would still like to keep him as a friend then don't ignore him. But if you feel really uncomfortable around him you can maintain your distance but still be friendly/polite when you see each other. Just let him know clearly you are not interested in him that way and say something like you don't want to date anyone right now if he doesn't give up.

Not okay, go out with him, give him a fair chance and if you didn't feel a thing, just talk to him about what you feel and tell him that you hope you stay friends, doesn't matter how he reacts cuz you handled the whole situation perfectly.
