Should you use emojis when texting a girl?

I heard that guys shouldn't be using emojis when you text a girl you like. So I am guessing these are the real yellow emojis like this :) . Can I instead use the text emojis like : ) or xD. Or should I just not use any at all.

It depends on the girl. Personally I wouldn't mind whether a guy I'm texting uses it or not but when he does that does make the conversation less dull because we can sort of understand each other's "tone" more clearly. For example "I hate you." and "I hate you😂" makes a huge difference to the one's who reading it!

You should use it! Just don't overdo it haha.
