How do initiate a makeout session?

This is the first relationship I've been in and it's nearly a month since we started dating however other than hello and goodbye kisses, I've never actually made out with her. I'm pretty bummed down by it because I feel pretty weak, I'm just scared I'll do something wrong and don't want to mess it up. I'm also very awkward to the point When I meet her I find it hard how to hold hands with her without being obvious.

So how do I know when it's the right time to makeout and how would I initiate it?

Well you guys are alone, you know just hanging out, just the two of you. Not somewhere where people might walk in. Just turn and kiss her and then I guess put a hand on her leg or waist and see how far that gets you.

Go slow at her. I'm very sure she wants to make out too, but girls usually like that guys make that step. Be easy, slow and enjoy it rather than rushing it because you're afraid to do it wrong. :)
