How common is it to be single at 23?

I'm a 23 year old girl who's single and looking. It feels like everyone else my age is already paired up/in a relationship (most of my friends have a bf/gf) and I read a really depressing study the other day that said 70% of 23-24 year olds are in a relationship, so I'm worried there just aren't enough single people my age (and it's only going to get worse as I get older...). I also feel like the only guys left in the dating pool are commitment-phobes and players and all the guys who are/were looking for a relationship already have one. Is there any hope for me at 23 to find someone around my age who's single and looking for a relationship?

It's common where I'm from. I've been single for a while, and I know a lot of other single people. Though I guess in the double major that I'm in it's not really a surprise. I'm also 23.

I guess it doesn't help that not every guy who's single and 23 is looking and not every single 23 year old guy is straight. Thouh I'd say majority of them are straight and looking.

If in a world of 7 billion people you can't find a guy suitable to date, then maybe it's not the thing for you. To me seems like every guy you come across is not good enough for you, or in other words you want the one you can't have.
