What does “Netflix and Chill” mean to you?

Its supposed to be as intended (come over and have dinner and or snack and watch a movie, finish up and go home. sex being not even on the radar) its damn ghetto behavior that's coined this new phrase and twisted its meaning into something dirty. So now simply being a nice quiet night with a date or whatever, now the other person thinks there is ulterior motives no thanks to whoevee started that shit.
I thought it's just watching a TV series and chill that's kinda weird but it'll still mean the same to me doesn't matter what other people mean by this term
@Naruto_Uzumaki weird to wanna binge watch tv shows with someone else?
I've been married for 6 years. Netflix and chill means the kids have us fuckin exhausted and we just want to binge on some Law and Order before we go to bed lol
Netflix and chill to me is watching a movie and chilling out. I honestly get very annoyed if my boyfriend tries to initiate sex DURING a movie or a TV show. Having sex after is fine, but I want to concentrate on the movie while we're watching it.
It's usually something like
"Hey wanna come over , watch Netflix and chill"
And 10 minutes into the movie it's no longer Netflix and chill.
But there are those rare days when Netflix and chill means just hanging out.

it's an... inside joke. netflix and chill means netflix and sex these days.
I accidentally voted for A. But I wanna hang out and watch movies or something then I'm gonna phrase it some other way besides "Netflix and Chill". Even tho when I use the word chill in that context, I mean to hang out. This generation has hijacked it tho and turned it into something totally different. Netflix and Chill used to mean hang out and watch some TV. Now it's basically a euphemism for sex lol.
Actually, it is for some, a way to avoid saying "all I really want is for that person to come over and fuck". So they engage in a little bit of a white lie. Netflix and Chill SHOULD mean, just hanging out - there is no implication of sex in those words. But so many people use this subterfuge to get sex, that it has come to have a second meaning.
Bottom line is - people should learn how to ask for sex directly instead of playing little verbal games.
When it became a trendy thing to say, sex! It was all about sex. Context is important peeps. So if you ask someone “Netflix & Chill?” explain the chill part of that. Because some people still consider chill to mean just hanging out.
Technically it's to hang out...
However, it's also an open invitation for additional development.
"Don't you want to come in for [insert excuse here]?" - this used to be the invitation. Nowadays, it's the internet so these people need to extend the invitation instead of waiting for the guy to "take the girl to her house".
I'm older than you.
Netflix is Netflix. Chilling is chilling.
Netflix and chill is an understood euphemism for getting together for sex. If you actually want to chill out watching Netflix you'd need to be careful and word it specifically, just like if you want to fall asleep together you can't just say 'and then we'll sleep together"
Sex apparently nowadays words mean different things so chill means sex , we are just old and lol
You're not old I'm 17 and didn't know the meaning of chill 😂
It's the new line instead of "do you want to come inside for cup of coffee"
It's an invitation to have sex
LMAO... well he missed his chance that day
It took us a year and a half to start dating. We couldn’t quite get on the same page and neither of us had the guts to be blunt. But it obviously worked... we married a year later. (I’m 7 years older). I thought he was the same age and me, he thought I was the same age as him. Our flirting was, at times awkward because neither of us understood.
Oh I see... that's really interesting story thanks for sharing
And wish you bith the best of luck in your lives
Wife and I have used a couple hookup sites finding shared female companionship. A few times women have used that line, and everytime, it seems to equate to this. Come to my place, I'll pick a flick, if we aren't cuddling/kissing/gropibg/fucking by the end of said movie, get out, but if we are doing any of those, run with it.
'Netflix and chill'
Do things ever mean exactly what they say lol
Not really haha
So we have to go netflix and chill
Is more geared towards cuddling and playing indoors
I think everyone knows by now that it means sex and sex only.
In the mainstream sense, it definitely means sex. But I think you could mean chill as in actually chill too, if you specify it. I've asked my boyfriend if we should Netflix and chill a few times, and only meant chill and nothing more.
It means you watch netflix and make love in missionary position
It could be a generational or age thing. I'm thinking hang out to.
I'm more of a rocket league and chill kinda guy. Though usually chill just means hang out from my point of you. I'll use other lingo to try and describe sex.
I honestly never really knew haha. I sorta thought it meant hang out but I always saw that it meant sex.
I think it's just a basic term to watch a TV series and chill I don't think it really matters if you're watching it on Netflix or somewhere else
I had always thought it meant watch some movies and hang out. Then after hearing a couple conversations between co workers I realized they meant sex.
Means that he don't value you enough to pay for a date with you. But, he wants the sex.
It means to watch Netflix and actually hang out, it was later turned in to slang for sex. If I were to hear the words or even say them, I would assume they mean to actually hang out. If she insisted on sex, I would decline. (Unless we're married)
