What is it like dating an Arab Girl?

She's from Yemen and she seem pretty into me, (she send loads of emojis ranging from 😜😉😆🙃😁🌷) and seems to like my attention. She asked me out first (not on a date but to finish our assignment together). But yeah, I am an attractive guy ( i would modestlly say an 8/10). But the question is, how is it like to date an Arab?

I’d be careful if I were you. It’s much much more risky for an Arab or Muslim girl to date a non-Muslim and non-Arab than it would be for an Arab guy. I’ve heard far too many horror stories from friends and family friends with the relationships ending horribly, especially for the girl, in some cases death or immediate arranged marriage with someone else. Of course not all Arabs are the same but it’s something you have to keep in mind because many arab parents are strict, especially when it comes to their daughters. Don’t expect it to be the usual dating experience. Also take into consideration that Yemen is generally much more socially conservative than other Arab countries.

Sorry I'll add a comment here cuz I read her reply. And it's not propaganda, it does happen even where i live. Because some families are tooooo strict and traditional they're ready to honour kill their daughter if she dates (even if she's dating an Arab)
The arranged marriage is also common as a "solution" cuz they see dating as shameful

It’s not propaganda because some of them are actual family and family friends of mine with the experience. And my cousin dated a Kurdish girl, when her family found out he got death threats and her brothers went out to get him, and he was still a half Pakistani-half Swedish Muslim guy and that wasn’t even enough, fortunately he got away but he never heard from her again. And also I forgot to add, according to my arab friends, don’t expect sex until marriage.

That I know lol been trough all this couple of times. Last girl I had was her cousin who were jealous at us was supposed to marry her 😂 we had a little conflict going on there she choose to please her parents wish and we ended it there

Are you both Muslim? If not then that would be a major problem. And also her family is an important factor as well so she has to be a strong person to be able to handle anything that could happen if her family knows.

But Arab girls in general, as far as I know are very beauty-conscious and mature. They definitely do share some stuff in common with us Brown girls.

Like dating any other girl! English men german men french men all of them are men. It goes the same way for women. Her family probably would hate you and she won't introduce you to her family anytime soon other than that there's no other difference

Dating a middle eastern girl will get you a girlfriend, nurse, chef, masseuse, and a psycho all in one. She will speak English when she's happy and Arabic when she's about to go loco LOL. It's nice I believe but it can be hard to get approval from her family. Good luck tho!

And they'll only know if it gets serious as in marriage.. but we are both not ready for that yet so we have a lot of time ahead of us.

Oh no I'm not forcing him to convert to Islam, but it all depends on the girl honestly. Some give up on their guy as soon as he refuses to convert, others don't. Surely I'll be suuuuper criticized by other Arabs and family members tho, but I don't mind that either. Cuz he can practice his religion and have his own beliefs, who am I to tell him what to believe in..
