Do girls really prefer "bad boys" over "nice guys?"?

Nah, the reason why they go with jerks many times is because that is who approaches them the most.
And contrary to what some women on here say, it is actually pretty uncommon for women to ask the guy out.
I know plenty of guys that have never been asked out and always had to do the asking. I'm the only guy I know (IRL not people that claim it online) that has been asked out by girls. None of the guys I've known IRL have been asked out by girls.

Part of the problem is that nice guys don't go around hitting on women while bad boys constantly do.

So while the good guy wonders weather it's an appropriate time to ask and doesn't want to make her uncomfortable the bad guy doesn't give a shitty and approaches.

I like nice guys. Nice guys are those that communicate with you if they like you but if not have the decency to tell you. Not their fiancé do it.

I'll have to agree with Logorithim. As women get older, they prefer the stability of nice guys and their ability to provide for them as opposed to the "bad guy". It sure seems that way though, don't it?

I guess it could happen that way. Maybe the trick is to be the bad boy to meet and get the girl, then be the nice guy after the relationship starts. No girl in her right mind wants the pushover nice guy though.
