My boyfriend calls me “Rainbow” to annoy me.
I get annoyed by people referring to “rainbow babies” incorrectly. They refer to pregnancies they had after a miscarriage pregnancy as a “rainbow” which isn’t what the saying is about. It’s about a born child that has died. My brother died (almost 5 years old) when my mum was 4 months pregnant with me. I am the real meaning of a “rainbow” baby, unlike my friends who miscarried and a few years later got pregnant and it’s therefkre “rainbow” apparently.
Sadly I can’t really argue since he’s once of the first successful IVF babies but I don’t like him calling me rainbow because I object to women twisting a meaning to suit them.

I've had a few, all came from my respective ex. The first was "Baby" ad "Babyloved" (for both of us), the second was "cutie" and "sweetie" (for both of us), the 3rd was "Angel" (and she called me Angel cakes), the latter was "schatzi" (and for me "schatz") which is basically german for "my treasure".
Button😂😂😂 jkjk i sometimes have code names for the crushes i have so they won't know im talking about them and that was one of them. Another one was ashy hands😂😂 anyways i think babygirl, sugar and boo are cute for girls my ex use to call me bby girl sometimes. He liked to be called daddy but i didn't rlly call him that cuz it didn't feel right for reasons that im not gonna go into detail about. I use boo when talking to friends too tho
I wish I had someone to call me cute names but I'm traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash
I have slightly meaner nicknames for my exes, yes. ;) At the time I dated them, there were the usual nicknames (short versions of their real names mostly) as well as some “pet names.”
Mine for him: Sweetie, Dohnut/Dohball, Sweetheart, JJ..
His for me: Sweetie, Limp Biscuit (from an old injury I sometimes have to limp), Gooey Cookie, BooWe call each other honey. Sometimes she calls me treasure. I'm not sure whether I should experiment with giving her nicknames. If you have any suggestions, I'll consider them.
Yes. I'm from the south, so just about every sweet girl gets called sugar, honey, darlin, "babe or whatever"...
I've personally never had a cute mini co name with my boyfriends (not even babe or honey) but when I do get nickname I dont want it to be a normal one like that
I call my boyfriend “Mon chou.” It means “My cabbage,” in French (my native language), but is used to call someone “Sweetheart.”
I always call my partners by their name and i prefer they do the same. Being called babe or whatever is a total deal breaker
Yeah, but I use terms of endearment (darling, hun, babe etc.) for everybody so it's no different when I use it on bfs; it's only when I use a nickname that came from an inside joke is when you're special, because it means we have memories together.
I don't have a certain nickname for him, neither he has for me. But we call each other dummy, sweety etc. it's just nothing fixed.
Not really. We sometimes call each other "patoot" but that happens pretty rarely.
I call him muffin or bunny and he'll call me babe or amor
1. Handsome, 2. Sexy, 3. Sexy beast, 4. Adorable conspiracy theorists, 5. Sexy viking
I have nicknames for everyone which actually are usually based off of food items.
Not really. I call him dear or love sometimes but that's about as far as it goes.
I call him babe. He call me babe and every now and then he calls me buttercup 🙂
Bum, she called me bum. Because she loved my bum to spoon against. Lol.
Sometimes i call him honey 🍯 (hun for short) and dear. He’s my caramel too 😋
