Have you ever confessed to your crush your feelings for them? If so, how did everything turn out?

I was confessed to by a girl I met over an online video game (Overwatch) and I already previously known her because we both attend conventions. She came over to my place and we instantly started cuddling and hugging n all. I was honestly really confused but now we're in a happy relo after basically 2 years.

She emotionally manipulated me, cleverly infecting my life without me noticing it until I entered a depressive spiral and had to take leave of my studies and social life to try to put myself back together, and only then could I see more than just the latter half stuff that she did.

Tbh honest the weirdest part was when after months of sexting and shit she asked me how I could possibly have thought we were friends, then told me she was lesbian then a few weeks later was with some other dude doing the same thing I assume lol. I caught on once I realised that she would say no to hanging out or having any in person contact outside of me helping her with her studies

Yes. He told me he wasn’t looking for a relationship with anyone at all but he was flattered. It was difficult to stay friends with him because the feelings were too heavy for me. I hated it: it felt like torture to think about him so much. I was always chasing him and whenever I wanted to hang out with him as friends, he would always have me wait several weeks so before we can finally hang out. I eventually ghosted him. He did come back into my life but I will not put as much energy into the friendship like I used to. I do this to protect my feelings. There’s more to the story but I won’t get into it too much.

I confessed to one of my friends last year. He kindly rejected me, but we're still friends to this day. The way I see it, the worst thing that can happen is they say no. If they reject you harshly or act like a dick - good riddance. You just dodged a bullet. If they say yes - nice! You have a date. And if they turn you down gently - they're a decent person that can understand we're you're coming from and won't feel too awkward still being your friend. You won't lose anything.

I've done it a few times. Worst one had to be back in 10th grade. I came up to her after school when she was at her locker. I looked at her and her face turned red from it being awkward and I froze for about 3 min (felt like forever) and nothing was said. I felt everyone looking at me and I just walked away as fast as possible. I don't ever do that kind of stuff after that.

Actually almost every time it was highly favorable. Lol! I but I am extremely shy so it takes a while and it is usually kind of painful that i haven’t said anything by the time I do... lol!
