Why Scandinavian men hate short girls?

lucky for me im 5'10" but I was talking to a guy about this a week or two ago... he said that a short girls to them is like a fat chick is to guys in US... So to a lot of guys who have many options, a girl whose good looking but she's 5'4''.. is the equivalent of a fatty with a ugly face? i took this randomly off twitter. it seems many guys would love to see short girls exterminated off the face of the earth. Why is it so?

It is about our culture. The guys I have discussed said they belive tall women are more fertile, womanly and have better genes. Maybe something with Vikings selected tall women to breed with? I dont know other cultures but in Scandinavia being extremely tall as a female is particularly prefered by men. I have a friend who is around 6'1" and her height have always been an advantage in dating (she does not care shorter men). No guy said she is too tall even though being 7" taller than average woman.

On the other hand I have a friend who is "only" 5'6" and she had been turned down for being "not tall enough" by some men even though being an average height.

So we can say being 7" taller than average is better than being only average as a female. At least in Nordics

Never ever heard a guy say he prefers tall women unlike how women often want a tall man. Usually a guy's requirement for her height is that she is shorter than him.

@simonqq yeah she was a little above average but she always had positive feedbacks from guys about her height. Mostly compliments for her legs. That is why I assume guys here particularly prefer tall girls because 5'6" girl dont get compliment as 6' girls get.

Girls if they look good no matter the height will receive a lot of compliments.

Tall women are more "woman" in our eyes. Short women are just... half women. :D Sorry if it sounds offensive to short women but it is truth. Tall women have peoject good genes and healthy bone structure, better proportion and LONG LEGS. I dont personally hate shorter women and I have dated a few but obviously tall women are superior in our eyes no doubt.

I mean there is a reason why models are tall ;)

I wouldn't go as far as say men want short women eradicated. I do have a preference towards taller women, too. However, equally, I do not dislike nor would I not date or not wish to be seen with a short women. I like some shorter women as well. I just generally lean towards taller is all.

Nordics view height as some kind of achievement for both males and females. In the rest of world, short is feminine and tall is masculine so being short as a female is rarely a problem. Nordics are different in this term. They idealize both tall men and women. Women prefer tall men as usual, but men also prefer taller women.

i'm Norwegian and 175cm atm, I prefer girls shorter than me, and I've never in my life heard a Norwegian say that short girls are less attractive. Your question is way too extreme.
