Best way to respond to an “I’m busy” text?

Hi,

I just need some advice on how to respond to a text I received from the guy in (not exclusively) dating.

He normally always sends me a morning message, sometimes I do it though so it’s not all one sided, and when he responded this morning he said good morning, that he had a busy day (at work) ahead and he would speak later (x on the end).

I need a guys opinion on how to respond to this - do I read it and not reply because he’s time me he’s busy? Or do I acknowledge it?

Ok, I sent a simple response saying “Thinking of you, speak later”. Hopefully that was good enough!

reply with something that ends the conversation and dont expect him to text u back, its good acknowledging it

i think something like: "okay i ll wait for x" will do it

Just text back “ok, get back to me when you can.” If he doesn’t, drop him and move on.

If he can see that you've read then you don't have to say anything. If not then just a "ok" will do.

Texting the partner throughout the day to let them know you're thinking of them is always nice as well.

If he says "i'm busy"... you should ghost him, not write more.
He doesn't care if you're thinking of him.
