Why are men more attracted to short women than tall women?

Well the ones who actually prefer shorter women like to feel taller, they feel manlier. The ones who prefer a taller woman they enjoy the long limbs, they think she is out of their league like a model especially if she is taller than him they feel inferior in some ways and try to think of other ways. Most of men don't care. If a woman is hot, they will want her regardless of size. They usually prefer a shorter one to feel better about their own height and masculinity while the ones who prefer a taller one feel better about themselves that they were able to pull her so the fact that she would want him when she would usually go for a taller guy gives him an ego boost.

these are just two examples. there are many reasons to like either height girls. some guys think shorter girls are more feminine because they feel bigger and more masculine next to them. to me that suggests insecurity. some guys think taller girls are more feminine because of their taller slender figures, long legs, but many times they are afraid to approach them or don't feel manly enough next to them, or the opposite, feel accomplished somehow that she is into them so they must have something that a taller guy didn't.

Because the media tells them that is what a couple is supposed to look like (look at all the couples in movies and the like.)

I personally prefer a woman who is taller than me as I want a woman who holds me tightly in her arms where I can hear her heart as she holds my head to her chest, in a nonsexual way (women can enjoy that kind of thing all the time, so why can't guys also feel what it is like to be wrapped in the arms of someone who is bigger?)

How come short men kill themselves at a disproportionate rate?

Male suicide rate is already five times higher than for females, but for every two inches below average height a man is, he is 10% more likely to kill himself, on top of already being 5x more likely to kill himself just for being male.

I'm starting to think maybe mothers should euthanize their short sons. It's more merciful than letting them live, apparently.

Short men kill themselves because women hate them and give them dirty looks or else just ignore them. After a few years, they realize no one will ever love them and they check out.

That's what happened to my friend in high school, he wasn't depressed or mentally ill, he was just tired of girls treating him like he was a piece of shit on the bottom of their shoes.

And if you don't believe me, here's a cool experiment you can try, go walk up to ANY short guy and ask him how he gets treated by women. Then prepare to be regaled by a tale of misery, anguish, and woe.

I think its a power thing. Its like I like having to look up at a man to kiss him. Its even nicer if I can wear heels and still do it (I'm 5'6") I think its about those gender roles. I want a guy that's strong and capable of protecting me and making me feel safe. I think guys want a girl that doesn't challenge that, so the smaller you are the more he feels bigger and stronger. Its shitty because if you're a tall girl or a bigger girl it makes all sorts of problems. But I think thats why.

The average male height in most countries is 5 inches taller than the average female height. That means that in any such couple, the man will probably be the taller one. It doesn't mean that the man is refusing to date tall women.
