Although a bit of a cliche, I think the biology-based explanation of the connotation made from tall to strong, hence to protection does play a big role in female choice for taller men. I also realize that short girls prefer taller men and vice-versa... I am one of those girls and feel physically attracted to really tall men. Are you as well? Is that the reason for your question?

Deep down..

Guys want a Toy..
That is smaller in height & weight..
That he can hold entirely in his arms..
While he can lift! Toss! Turn! And adjust her to put his Dick Inside her as per his needs..

Girls want a strong men
Girls want a strong tall men that they can never physically overpower.. And nobody else can..
He takes her and subjugates her and uses her as per his physical needs..
Because deep how the idea that she was beautiful and perfect enough to satisfy him.. Makes her feel beautiful about herself..
( Since I am not a women this cannot be a perfect opinion! Maybe a women should rewrite this part in reply, what do they want)

I always found something funny that, woman seeing tall man as attractive lmao. I am 5.11 ft its 180cm I would call myself Average but not tall, however I am someone who works hard heavy for years, I do strenght workouts too and all that. I got in pyhsical fight with a lot of taller man than me like 10-15 cm and defeated them, they are all heavy, cumbersome and not athletic so its weird that why people see them as someone strong. Ofcourse man who workouts and is tall can be competitive but still their only advantage is their weight.

About being attractive, I wonder what do you really think about man who are tall af but skinny as hell? As you may know if height is too much tall then person looks more skinny.. is this what comes attractive to you?

If I had to guess it'd be that woman like a tall man because they're like a towering wall, that protects them, or they represent physically what you want emotional which is again a giant towering wall that can weather the storm that is your emotions.

Plus it's also a biological attraction/instinct thing, size makes them seem more capable and strong.

I guess it's a protective thing, taller guys have a better chance at defending you since they have longer reach which is a great advantage in a fight.

Biology and nature.  To the female mind, Tall guy = more masculine = more protection.  It's not absolutely true, but based on nothing but looks, it means something.

I've been a giant since elementary + until highschool. So half my crushes were always shorter. I can't see myself being with a tall guy. Would feel weird.
