Ladies, how often should I text my girlfriend?

So my girlfriend and I are having a long distance relationship. We really like each other. How often do you think she would want me to text her? I know it varies for girls, but I want a general idea of how often is "often" for some ladies. We also talk on the phone too.

I recently got out of a long distance relationship. Me and my guy literally texted all day. We'd give each other updates and what was going on all day, ask what the other person was doing so we'd have more to talk about, and expressed our feelings throughout the day. However, now that the relationship is over I realize that it may have been smarter not to text all day. I think if I were in a long distance relationship again I'd only text occasionally and casually throughout the day. I'd try and plan a specific time each day when we'd talk. For example, when I get out of work I'd call him and then we can tell each other about our day rather than talk nonstop throughout the day. That's just my relationship though. If you're texting each other a lot and you're both enjoying it and have good conversation, then keep it up and enjoy it.

i would say when ever you feel the need to but if that's nearly every min then maybe in the allways1 in the morning and 1 before bed and then maybe another in the afternoon telling her how your day has been and asking her about her sou you will get a little texting coversation going for a few mins

Here's my rule: I'm in a long-distance relationship too and I text as much as I want until I feel I get bland replies ..which means he's tired of too many texts or busy or whatever...by then I stop and back off for him to miss me then on again...let it be spontaneous! :)

I text non-stop until I realize she's slowing down. Then I back down and wait for her to send me a text. Then I wait about 45 minutes, or however long it takes her to respond again, then I start talking again. Depends on how needy she is.

um text her like when ever you miss her.just not like every second like she might probably be busy or something.also she sometimes might need time to herself like with out anyone ...but if she misses you she will text you.but text her when ever you feel like talking to her.

i like updates and love notes. not a- what are you doing text.

send a text before work/school , on your break and after work/school, and at least 2 extra texts a day saying I love you or I miss you, if your at that point in a relationship
