Guys: What do you honestly think about girls who are happily single?

I'm naturally quite an independent person in the sense that I have my own life and interests going on, and I don't feel the need to always have a significant other to make me complete. In fact, I've been pretty happily single for about two years now. Of course it would be nice to find someone, but I'm fine with just living my life and waiting until someone I really like comes along. Most of my close friends share a similar attitude to me, so I've never felt odd in thinking this way. However, I recently started a new job where it seems likely literally ALL my coworkers talk about is dating, relationships, and finding love. Most of them don't know I'm single, so I often overhear them shitting on and being condescending towards single people, and saying things like "Don't worry, you won't be alone forever!" to people who just broke up, like being single is an inherently inferior, pathetic state of being that you must fight to get out of at all costs. Can I just ask... is this sort of attitude appealing? Like do people genuinely look down on me for being single? Should I feel more self-conscious than I am? Do guys prefer it when girls are desperate to be in a relationship?
