I'm taller than more than 80% of guys in Germany (my country) according to Tall Life's height percentile calculator. I grew up this way, my parents are both tall and I notice that to me, someone below 195cm simply isn't tall - therefore, I definitely would ask out a shortie because basically I don't care about height that much.
I almost dated a 2m guy and to be honest I liked it at first but then grew to hate all the stares. I think it's cute to date someone taller than you and I feel equally loved and safe.

In general I don't have the courage to ask anyone to almost anything. It's hard for me to socialize. I'm only able to ask someone out if I feel this person is very friendly or seems to have real interest in me. It hasn't only affected me when finding a partner, it also affects me when I want to make friends.

Returning to the main topic, I liked a guy shorter than me when I was 18 who was part of my group of friends by that time. But he didn't seem very interested in me so I didn't have the courage.

I briefly dated a guy shorter than me. it was awkward man. he was very short and small and even had slightly smaller hands than me. Never again.

Only if they’d have the courage to ask me out. I’m 5’8 (173cm) so I wouldn’t mind extending my boundaries and dating someone who’s 5’7 if I really like them. However, 5’6 and below is a no go because then it just looks like I’m their mother.
