I honestly think it is hard to tell because the situation is fraught with unresolved tension - Normal interaction are being overthought maybe blown out of proportion - The thing that comes to mind with a current partner and an ex, is jealousy and insecurity - The current partner may be stressed about how a partner feels about an ex or could they go back thus causing them to act out in a manner against the ex - Really for all concerned the three should think is this constructive or negative and vow move on or away in a positive manner - I have seen it in a guy who was obsessed with the father of his girlfriends child, it had a very toxic effect on relationship with woman and child.

This happened to me and the first thing she did was try to become friends with my girlfriend. Shed only talk to her when I wasn't around so for the longest time I wasn't even aware what was happening. Until my girlfriend told me there was this chick talking behind my Back to her. 🤷🏾♂️
Oh it's painfully obvious. When your new girlfriend says things like "did you take Mandy here"? "Did Mandy like lemon squares", "Did Mandy like to fuck in the car"?
Nothing against women named Mandy ;)Stares, cold like, shy or nervous behavior. Clearly using speech saying so...
They're all jealous. Women are extremely competitive, especially when it comes to men and dating. If you're gonna play the game, play it to win.
