I feel like she uploads photos just to piss me off and it does piss me off because it's insulting.

Who the hell does this dumbass girl think she is? She's a nobody, and sometimes I feel it's my own mistake for letting her get away with all of her bullshit because I didn't put her in her place and all I really did was encourage her nonsense

I'm sorry to say this but you seem like a judgmental person. And why are you getting so worked up? I had this happen to me a long time back in college some girl was uploaded pics of herself on Snapchat but doing so in a mocking way every time I posted something on Snap , she would copy my post and kind of do so in a put down way or making fun of me way.

Buuuut. I just saw that as her weakness, maybe she was jealous because she was going through a break up and her ex was trying to give me attention, which I completely ignored 100% and I was nothing but kind to this girl. She still did that to make me feel bad. I just quietly began to walk away from her in every connection I had with her. Like stopped looking at her snaps and stopped following her in Instagram. I stopped texting her and hanging out with her. But I did so in a very calm and relaxed way. And didn't care at all. It saved me a lot of emotional damage and also I like keeping up with my health so that too. Just take the higher road. You don't have to keep saying... "But I'm prettier than her" . No one cares who's prettier. That ain't gonna pay for a shitty attitude. Or the I'm so bad look at me bla bla bla I'm so above everyone else. Humbleness and kindness is where true beauty lies. It makes the most attractive people irresistible because personality and actions always means more than looks. Stop trying to prove that you're better than anyone else. No one gives a care about that. Just be yourself, calm down, focus on you. Stop comparing.

No judgment from me. Jealousy is one of the trickiest emotions to deal with, whether you are on the receiving and/or feeling end. There is a stigma around even asking for advice about it. It’s hard to talk about it around people who aren’t very empathic and understanding without being shamed, accused of being the jealous one, or asked “why do you care?” I love the saying “Judge me when you’re perfect.”

If her pictures are wracking your brain just unfollow or mute her for a while. Honestly if you truly see her as a nobody, unfriend and unfollow her. Be true to yourself and only stay connected with those you think highly of. Also, you don’t know the true reason as to why she is uploading the pictures since you can’t read her mind; you can only speculate. If the photos are provocative then it’s safe to say she wants to be desired, especially sexually. She is definitely looking for attention and wants to be seen a certain way.

Certainly. You've stated that their actions are effecting you and it's enough to exacerbate you enough to reach out to the world for help, (or venting if nothing else). If you keep paying attention to their actions and giving them energy to keep on doing it, it will only start to affect ypur life even further. You'll start to get frustrated all of the time and that can bleed over into your personal life and start ruining that as well. This is a petty, toxic person that nobody should be giving any attention to. It doesn't matter your relation to them, (gf, friend, ex, mother), if they're not helping you in life, they shouldn't be part of it. Hope that helps a little.

It was only a long long time afterwards unfortunately that I realized what their real motives were.

Exactly. It sucks and it hurts, but the only way you can start to destress and be really happy again is if you eliminate them from your life, (I've had to do the same, really sucks). It may even mean losing all or most of your friends in the process if they're part of your group, but you have to be happy with your life and the only person that can control that is you.
