Do you think it's strange when a girl these days does not care about social media - especially Instagram? Would you date someone who's like that?

I never really understood all the fuss about social medias, mainly Instagram. I have no need to show various things from my life online or posting tons of pictures of myself, my pets or my meals... It's simply not a thing for me but many people think I'm lying when I say I don't care for it.

• What do you think guys? Would this stop you from interacting with a girl who's like me in this?
• Is that maybe even a turn off or simply a thing that would possibly bother you?

PS. I want to add I use FB to chat and for stuff like memes but that's the most of social media thingy to do from me.

I think not using social media in something really normal in an insane world. Good for you! Too many people these days get twisted up in narcissistic circle jerks. For example there was some trailer park girl on here that tried to get my attention repeatedly. She kept posting endlessly and got blocked. Then she gets her friends to post that thinks she won a carnival prize or something for acting like a circus animal and getting shunned. It seems social media has really warped some people’s minds to the point of no repair. Opting out is the sane thing to do. There is far more to life than up votes and followers.

Yes thank you I have FB messenger just to talk to friends because WhatsApp sucks now other wise I still wouldn't have a single social media account I use I lost interest in FB in less than 6 months it's nothing but drama and constant friend requests from strangers that never talk to you I just don't understand any of them

It's not strange, but today it's probably unusual since so many women obsess over that stuff. I think that many men like myself see it as kind of dumb, and see many of those women as attention whores.

It's probably a plus for most men that you don't care about that stuff, not a negative.

I don't like social media either, and don't use any social media except for Facebook, and I rarely use Facebook. I prefer living in the real world, not the virtual world.
