Yes, I understand lockdown and stuff has made it tough to meet in person and do things together but still virtual dates is not equal to actually going on a date and spending quality time together.

Hence it is better to just speak or call on phone instead.

That is true. We were supposed to do a movie night a couple days ago. Ended up just calling for 6hrs instead.

at least we have irl plans, and kinda are continuously evolving

Yes, one more thing. It is just a matter of time. I am confident that cure will come out in the form of vaccine sooner or later and then life will be back to as it is before. After that both of you can meet in person as before.
