What do girls expect when going on a dating app?

What do you expect or look for on a guy profile, what makes you swipe Left and or swipe Right,
Why when matched you dont message or reply?

Expect: Nothing in particular. If you in with expectations, you're very likely to be disappointed

Look for: low key mostly just vetting for red flags or deal breakers, along with the basic "do I like his appearance, do I think there's a chance I'd be attracted to this person fr if I met him?"

Some of my dealbreakers: smoking/drugs, obviously a partier/big drinker (I'm a homebody and want someone who'd at least be cool with that), no super religious/political content in their bio (if that's important to them then it's great to have it out there, it's just not my thing) - I consider myself to be a democratic/moderate liberal, so I generally wouldn't date someone conservative just because of the differences in morals/values (I have a couple conservative relatives and good lords it's a struggle, would never do that to myself in a relationship), no pics attempting to explicitly be thirst traps (those dudes are there to bang and nothing else, and while that's their business, it's not my thing atm.)

Match and don't reply: I don't usually do this, but on the rare occasion that I have it's because when I went back to his profile i realized I wasn't as interested or maybe there was a minor red flag so pretty much just decided, "if he reaches out and seems cool after all then great, but otherwise there's not much point in putting in effort if I don't think it will work out" Then neither of us contact eachother and we prove our mutual disinterest lol

But tbh I don't spend much time on dating apps and don't swipe right that often to begin with when I am (I think I'm honestly just a bit incompatible with the people in my area atm (lots of conservative people and frat bros from the big uni in town), but I ended up meeting someone in person that I'm casually dating rn so I haven't been on any apps in a hot second anyway.)
