Do European men prefer tall women?

Im 5'3" but I live in US and it does pretty well. Many men here prefer short and petite women as myself.
But I have heard tall women with long legs are more popular in Europe and girls around my height are often rejected there. Is it true?

All things equal if I am doing the choosing, I will choose the taller one instinctively. If they are doing the choosing, the short one will hit on me and take me home while the tall one is still thinking about it.

Well it depends on i like average tall girls my self i am 5'8 . i want a girl not less then 5'7 not much less small. Yes European are much taller especially in North and Eastern Europe.

I'd say it is a mix, french girls are on the taller side tho like 1,68/1,70cm but casually walking on the streets you will encounter more girls around 1,60/1,65
