Do you think tall women have it harder in the dating world?

I’m 1m80 (5’’11) and dating is a nightmare for me. Guys shorter than me don’t approach me (understandable) and taller guys often prefer short girls.

I can’t even get myself to wear heels on dates and feel sexy because I don’t want the guy to be intimidated by my height.

I would like to know how other tall girls feel about meeting and dating men. And guys, what do you think about tall women (but that are still shorter than you)?

I don't know, I'm pretty tall for my country but here my height is considered to be the ideal so it's all good.
After I think being 180 cm is harder in the simple reasons there's not a lot of men who are actually around your height.
Though I think in my country it wouldn't be too hard dating considering I've seen a lot of guys being shorter than their girlfriend (not by a lot surely like 3 cm but it was still noticeable to an outsider view).

Maybe you just didn't noticed it cause you're were too focused on the whole "men like short girls"
I had an insecurity like this when I was in middle school because I was quite tall for my age and in those time I only noticed couple where the woman was much shorter but when I wasn't uncomfortable with my height anymore I noticed there's actually all kind of couple and height didn't matter really that much.
Our insecurity can blind us on stuff that are just under our nose, it's quite crazy when we think about it.

They do, but not significantly. I know a lot of guys like being the taller one in a relationship, but again that's only a certain portion of guys. I prefer tall women and especially if she's my height or taller. I've only met a few women around my height and I find that trait attractive.

I believe tall women have it much harder than their shorter counterparts. My girlfriend is 188cm tall. She has had trouble dating before. All the guys she dated before me were taller than her. I'm the only shorter guy she's been with and we're happy together. there's more to a tall woman than height. We have to look at the bigger picture and thats being happy together.

I live by the rule « treat others the way you want to be treated » so I will try my best not to be judgmental about someone’s height.

Harder than your average height but I wouldn't say it's hard for taller women to date in general. I'm short and I've dated a girl 1" shorter than you. She'd use to find it funny to wear heels on purpose to make our height difference even more drastic.

I think tall girls are very attractive but I can see how it would intimidate insecure guys. But the positive thing about that is it screens out insecure guys from your dating pool. I think tall girls should be proud of their height and embrace it.
