So I got this comment on Photofeeler. What does this mean?

The comment goes like this:

"I am not a fan of mirror selfies, but I can see why this man took one! He is very attractive and could definitely find a date.
: ) Love the cross pendant too!"

The reason I feel skeptical about her comment is because she said "he could find a date" as if to imply "I wouldn't date him but maybe some other girl will" which is basically a flat out rejection. Another thing too is that she used the word "definitely". In 2020, the word "Definitely" is often used as an upfront lie when you actually dont want to do something but are too afraid of hurting the persons feelings. The last thing that made me skeptical was the smiley face : ) that she used near the end. If she was genuinely attracted, wouldn't a girl use these: 🥰instead of typing out a bland " : ) ". It just doesn't seem genuine to me.

Look man, it's possible to comment on someone who is attractive while not wanting to date them. Her comment was completely genuine with no hidden meaning. You are 100% overthinking it.

"I wouldn't date him but maybe another girl will" is not what you think it is. She could already be in a relationship. She could be not looking for a relationship. She also has no idea who you are on the inside. She's just a chick giving her honest opinion on your looks, which for some strange reason seems to have backfired.

You gotta sit and think about why you have this perspective that makes you so suspicious and cynical. What you wrote makes it seem like you've conjured up a world in your mind where you have no value. 🤐

Don’t overthink it. She probably doesn’t want to come on too strong, she admits you’re attractive and that takes a lot. You’re focusing on the minutia and negatives when there are a lot of positives. Okay sorry I’ve never heard of that app. Then definitely don’t take offense to it. She obviously voted that you’re attractive. She said you could “find” a date because based off what you told me, she can’t get a date with you because she has no way to contact you. It’s not saying that she wouldn’t date you but the logistics prove impossible
