What does this comment mean?

There’s an older woman who is the executive director at our job. She’s very well dressed and I don’t want to say intimidating but she’s very intimidating especially when things aren’t done right so she just wants everyone to do this job correctly. She’s a classy woman.
She was a little hard on me at first and ended up firing this girl who worked with me so that made her even more scary to me lol. I’m very nice and have been told I have a great smile and I’m pretty so I’ve worked my way out of a lot of situations that way lol.
I have another coworker my age who the older woman loves because she knows her family and told her she was beautiful and dotes on her a lot.
The older woman recently had become more affectionate towards me and last week I was wearing a basic shirt and some pants and she told me I looked so pretty. Also today I was sitting at the front desk writing and she was walking up with the sales director. When she saw me she was like “look at Anna. Anna you look so cute sitting there”. I thought it was sweet and laughed.
Some of her comments can be weird or hard to interpret. What did she mean by saying that I looked so cute sitting there?
