I went on a date with a guy and texted him the following morning and he sent me a text saying “You looked so good yesterday 👌🏼”

It's obvious you only listen to what you want to hear.

No it doesn't mean that so don't get your hopes up.

It means what it means not what you want to think it means.

It's usually said in the manner of something else.

For example, you look so good to eat. Now when Mr Cannibal says that to you, does he care about your looks? No, he just wants to eat you, end of.

You're a worrier so lets help you worry about this!

You could have a fugly face but your personality, your dress sense and behaviors amongst other things all contribute to your 'look.'

He could dismiss the face and all other contributory factors considered, he rates you 'so good.'

However, when used as an adjective on the beauty scale that you perceive he's referring to, good wouldn't be on the higher end of the scale now would it? No. Worry!

Also, if you'd like to worry even more, his message reads in the past tense, yesterday, does it not?

If he has seen you since, you may have looked so good yesterday but today, maybe not so much. Worry more!

Also, another point to worry about is his choice of emoji. The 666 AKA (to the masses) as the 'A-OK' is just that A-OK, brush it off, not that great, could be better, right?

So when you refer to your beauty scale, which is better, good or OK? Hmm, now as you worry even more why did he not choose another emoji?

For example, a smile face? A super smiling face? A face with star eyes? Or how about heart eyes, aww?

There's a lot for you to be worry about so I appreciate you reading all of this.

I'd like to disagree and as such have anaylzed his words as to what it could mean to someone who worries so much.

Take it as face value, it means what it means, stop worrying.

Yes he could. Therefore, pay attention to he does!

That's why I say focus on his actions and not his words.

If needs must, drop him the question "So... " followed by whatever it is you want to find out, like are we going on another date etc.

Not necessarily. Although, there's no legal or mandatory timescale that determines when ghosting starts/doesn't start.

It could happen after a date as in you don't hear from them/after a conversation/midway through a conversation!

It's entirely upto you how you approach this.

Do you reach out in a day or two or do you wait?

Remember it's his actions that count not what he says.

In general, if someone is interested in you they'd not keep you waiting.

Not necessarily. You can tell someone they look good without being attracted to them or thinking they are a good looking person. Saying someone looks good could just be another way of complimenting their outfit, hair, etc.

I dont see a difference between the two. But it doesn't necessarily mean he finds you attractive to him. Its just he though you were good looking.
