Is it offensive to tell a single woman that she looks like a mom?

Well I need a less general structured question in order to answer. How does a mom look in regards to a woman that is not a mom? Is it their fashion style, the car that they are driving or what?

I know some very hot moms so it may depend on the single woman it is directed to. My single lady friends I know would laugh, give you a look and keep it going, until they call me to vent... lol. Well my lady friends are over 40 and most of them are very secure with themselves. So they would be laughing because in their silent voice they'd be saying; "Damn, I am a sexy a__ mom!"

Depends on the context, mostly. Personally I take it as a compliment, since people tell me I give off an "earth mother" kind of vibe.

Your uncle shouldn't be saying stuff like that. Don't listen to him. Not wearing makeup is something many women do, and I'm one of them. It doesn't make you look like an old hag.

As people grow older, there looks and behavior change. So yea some people are gonna start looking like a dad/mom the longer they live, but that's not everyone tho. Is it rude, well yea. It's basically calling that person old/\.
