Why would a girl ask the same thing after I answered it several times?

There is a girl at work I find attractive. Her and I flirt sometimes and have long conversations. We are studying to work in the same field. I am 2 years older than her and taking some advanced classes to increase my chances to get into the school I want. She asked me several times about this and I explained why im taking the classes and my plan. She probably asked me this four times already and I explained to her each time. I know she gas good memory because she remembers super small details about me.
Does she keep asking me to start a conversation?
