Do some guys not want to date a mysterious girl? Like one they can’t easily read or fully know?

It would certainly be intriguing to me; for a time, anyway. Mystery and adventure are big when you’re in that stage of a relationship where you’re drawn to the other person. But at some point, I think most people want to balance that with a sense of security and predictably.

Ever see the film “9½ Weeks”? (Spoiler coming up!) The main character starts going out with this mysterious guy and it’s incredibly exciting for her. But then she wants to get closer and he doesn’t allow it. Eventually, she leaves him because there is nothing there but mystery. He returns to her regretfully, and starts telling her about himself but by then it’s too late. She moved on because there was nothing to hold on to. It would be like that, only with the roles reversed.
