The difference is that showing interest is not the same as actually being interested.

It's rare that women are that straightforward about their interest, you have to pick it up and assume they are always interested in you to some extend just because you are a guy. Then you will see it.

it’s normal, if u don’t go out a lot maybe that’s why, when u go out u meet new people if isn’t the case maybe try improve urself (working out, eating healthy, smelling good...)
