Is being tall a must or a bonus?

I am a short guy and i know that height matters so i am not gonna ask that, what i need to know that is it really necessary? Like, if a guy has a good personality would being short be a deal-breaker?

honestly depends on the woman. Some don't mind dating short guys (not common though). It also depends on how tall you are in comparison, if you're 5'7 you'll have more luck with women shorter then that.

Height to women is like choosing the best product of a similar type like lets say a computer. You want the best of the best. A 5'7 guy is probably still shorter than the vast majority of men in the USA which means the competition he has with other men is still high. On average women are more likely to be drawn toward men that are bigger and taller than them. A 5'7 man isn't nescessarily that big to most women unless they are maybe under 5'3 or something. Even then a lot of women just like big guys which unfortunately 5'7 guys don't meet the criteria of. 5'7 and 5'8 guys are like the 50/50 guys with women. You can either be good for women if you're taller than them, but if women like men at least lets say 5 or 6 inches or more taller its a no go. More of the latter than the former.

@Pinkroses33 yeah I don't know. I know height matters, but I've always heard "he has to be somewhat taller then me, not necessarily tower over her.

Most women wouldn't actively go for a 5'7 man because of heels, most women are about that height or taller with heels on. I've never actually heard of women say 5'7 guys are more attractive compared to tall guys, not at all actually. Even guys that are 5'9 are unfortunately a bit bigger and taller than most women which would have a more higher preference. I think the "safe zone" height for men generally is at least 5'9 cause its still taller than women with heels on and it makes women feel "small"

@Pinkroses33 no never said they would prefer a guy that was the same height as them over a taller guy, but if you can't be tall, at least be the same height as them or slightly taller. See this one really short guy once tried to kiss me at a party (we were sitting on a couch and he was sitting on the arm of the couch lol) and so a big part of why he wasn't attractive was that I towered over him, heels are no heels. So yeah if you can't be 5'9 6'0 at least be slightly taller/a similar height.

Well, 5'7 is a bit short for a man. Most women won't be so much smaller than that and its still a height that is even not that tall for women themselves so it has a reduced chance. I'm sure most women wouldn't mind, but if they had to choose between a tall guy or a 5'7 guy or even any guy that isn't tall, it would most likely be tall with everything being equal (looks, money, body, etc..)

Being tall (5ft10 minimum) is an absolute must for men! As a matter of fact: height is everything (for men). Without the necessary height a "man" is not a man but a silly, little manlet boy - a sissy.
