Napoleon complex? Are you comfortable if your woman is taller?

Me being 5'11(1,80m), most of my partners have been my height or shorter, and it's because I don't care about height. Now, some of the guys were more than eager and excited to date me and didn't care about my height. Others, although they found me attractive, hated the idea of me wearing heels while going out. I do not conform to such insecurities, and I would be considerate for a time. So I'm here to ask for your point of view. What is it that makes you uncomfortable to date a taller woman, and if not, what do you enjoy about it?

Me being shorter than literally EVERY adult male friend I've ever had (I'm only 181 m) and being rejected by like 75% of girls I've tried to talk to, then yeah, I'd say I probably have a Napoleon Complex. I'll admit it. But at least it's made me learn how to box, kickbox, and do MMA.

Most of my partners have been my height or taller, and it's because they "settled" for me, since tall guys almost exclusively only go for short girls (167 cm or less). None of the girls were eager and excited to date me and thought I was physically attractive, except for like, two. (One was my late ex who passed away eight years ago, and the other lived in Indianapolis.) Besides those two, not a single one was comfortable with my height or found me attractive. I didn't care that they were taller. In fact, I preferred it.

Ideally, I would be 6'5" (196 cm), with a 6'3.5" (191 cm) girl. I would LOVE being a full-sized man, instead of a chicken-fluckin' manlet... But it is what it is. So I stopped pursuing women because only 4% of them are like you. I do not mind dating a taller girl, especially since short girls (and tall girls) only want tall guys, and tall guys (mostly) want short girls, anyway. In other words, NOBODY wants us short guys!

So to answer the question, yes, I would be considerate for a tallie. What is it that makes 96% of straight women uncomfortable to date a guy under six feet tall?

I've given up on trying to meet women's unobtainable standards. I'm working on being a HAPPY little dwarf.

I appreciate your thought out response. And i have a feeling a lot of males feel the same way like you. To be frank, I would consider you in the tall category, since my record of men are always 6 inches or more below me XD But I understand why the notion of females wanting taller men is popular, and why some men might be uncomfortable with being the shorter partner. I think in the end, unless there is a massive height difference, it doesn't really matter in the long run.

It wouldn't bother me- I don't think so, anyway; vanishingly few women are taller than me, so I can't speak from experience. From what I've heard (and overheard), height is usually more of an issue for women than with women. While it's usually a mistake to speak in absolutes when describing human behavior, I'd imagine that guys reacting badly to it are presuming she wouldn't him attractive, rather than having an attraction bias of their own.

I'm a short guy (5'5") and honestly I don't care if a woman is taller than me, shorter than me, or my height. Just as long as she's comfortable with it and doesn't mind rude comments from other people. That being said I know a lot of women don't want shorter guys. Even women who are shorter than me wan guys who are at least 6 feet tall. They want to feel small and dainty and they want a guy who a protect them. I understand that and it's cool as long as they aren't rude about it.

Now back I dating a taller girl, I actually see some good things about that.
1. If we get married and have kids my kids will have a 50/50 shot at being tall. As a short guy my man issue is finding clothes that fit well.

2. She can reach things that are high up that I can't. 😂

3. I do see this as a fetish but I'm kind of turned on by the thought of being with an Amazonian woman. 😅

4. If she wants to wear her high heels and the make her even taller then so be it. If she wants to slow dance she's going it have to get over the fact that my face lines up with her boobs and since they're eye level to me I'm going to look. You won't hear me complaining. 😉🤣

I don't care about a girl's height. Three feet to eight feet doesn't matter. I care more that she likes me and is a nice person. don't hurt if she's easy to look at and/or has a nice butt.

Luckily I'm about 182cm so even the girls on the taller side I have some height on. But I don't fancy girls taller than me, it just doesn't look nor feel right and proper. And really tall girls takes away some of my attraction as well.
