Don't worry. You can still make it. A LOT can still happen in a decade or 2.

At least you didn't devote your youth studying for an discipline you can't participate-in sustainably due to a medical-issue yet unknown, but utterly disruptive no matter what your workplace, given long enough time for the effects to unfold. Then, you'd be a high-educated 'unskilled' laborer working a low-wage job a high-school dropout tends to do, as though you did absolutely nothing for almost half your life (minus the benefit of actually enjoying your time derelicting your duties and lacking-off to enjoy life)!

You can't control your past, but only the present & (by consequence) the future. Cut your losses, move-on form the feeling of defeat, and keep your focus on making the best of what you have at the present. To do otherwise is only shooting yourself in the foot. And for what benefit?

I bet you are a really interesting person with lots of different experiences. Don't get so hung up on how old you are. If you want to work on your social life just draw on some of those experiences and get out and meet as many people as you can.

I know it may seem that way but there are a lot of people still single in their 30's and beyond. A. lot of women delay marriage to work on their careers and nobody thinks twice about it anymore.

Nope. I was kind of like you - I studied, travelled and worked. But I just didn't bother dating because I didn't like anyone enough.
I'm 30 and started dating a really lovely, sweet guy a few months ago. It's funny because he's got some trauma from his ex, while I'm pretty well adjusted. So the perk about waiting for someone special is you side-step a hell of a lot of shit.

You definitely didn’t mess up your life. Since you’re a girl, statistically you’ll live longer so definitely don’t think that way. I suggest if you feel this way try to do absolutely anything and everything you want to do/have to do. Instead of working everyday at a job that might leave you unfulfilled, travel the world, explore, etc :) have fun
