My ex used sex as a weapon and made me feel like I was crazy for wanting it and would tell me I didn’t care about her I just wanted to get off on her , then she would say she could be anyone that I would fuck anything , For her to give me sex it’s like I had to earn it by doing things for her to the point I could never initiate it ,, like I had to wait for her to come to me , it was controlled abuse , to find out she was having an affair on me with a co worker , when I busted her cheating I ended it right then and there and she begged for me to take her back that she was sorry and that she loves me , I just laughed and said you are the biggest mentally insane whore and threw all her shit out on the lawn and locked the doors and told her to get the fuck out , best thing I ever did, was getting away from that abuse. You should never feel deprived in a relationship , if someone can’t make you feel wanted and valued like you do to them they aren’t worth your time , plenty of better fish in the sea to catch over wasting your time with someone that just likes the convenience of you. To me , if sex dies in a relationship, so does the relationship , I don’t care what anyone else says Life is to short to be unfulfilled

Nope he’s never gaslit me. He has been manipulative by giving ultimatums and really pissed me off and sometimes it had worked - albeit not for long! I mean it worked because I met him at 15 and he is my first love and obviously I had been afraid of losing him. As I got older and more mature I learned not to give anyone that much importance and am much firmer and stand my ground so he isn’t able to manipulate me anymore. If it ever came down to it where he tried to force me to do something I don’t want to do then I will break up. I’m not fussed anymore at all. Life is too short.

All kinds of things. He has/had me convinced I only care about myself. I have no empathy. I’m a horrible mom. I was persuaded enough to believe I had a whole side of me I didn’t know existed. I asked my siblings if they saw me like he does. I’m not the person he wants me to believe he’s making me out to be. He pushed me and grabbed me one night. I was devastated it was the first time he put his hands on me. He laughed at me after and said I deserved it.

When we had to repaint our apartment. I didn't want to do it as for me we could go for another year, while she insisted.
Suddenly, after a while, it was "my" idea and she basically got me to do it because she wasn't really into it and she wanted to get over with it as soon as possible. It was surreal!

Whether it be him telling me that I we had never made certain plans (despite there being texts to prove it), that we had not made plans to go to certain places, to telling me I’m imagining having made comments on his behaviour/physical symptoms like excessive sweating at random moments...

Exs... well one ex had me convinced that my money was for him to spend because he knew better what to do with my money. He was unemployed. He also had me convinced that I only thought of myself and I didn't care for him at all. Which is sbullshit because if you knew me you would know I always put others first

I am not sure if this count as Gaslighted. I was with a older men while I was in high school and tried to guilt trip me into sex when I was underage of consent. Other one was another ex boyfriend was blaming my trust issues with women. I didn't even had sex and did broke up with high school ex boyfriend.
