I do not do "script" aka "cursive" well, but, in 1977-78 when I was in the 9th Grade, I learned drafting and an essential skill in drafting is printing meticulously - just like in the picture. You had to practice this over and over to the point that it's in your brain and it takes over how you write for the rest of your life.

I do not write much with pen/pencil and paper, but I DO mark up documents or create by hand drawings or diagrams to teach others. That meticulous printing is still with me and people comment on it - even at the US Post Office when I address and envelope.

Meanwhile, when a woman has good handwriting (aka "cursive" / "script"), it's an attractive feature because it makes her seem classy. Both my mother and wife and father have very good handwriting. Mine always sucked and I preferred printing. The only time I need to handwrite is my signature on documents or checks or cash register pads.

Yes I would say so, it is certainly something attractive in someone to be articulate, well spoken, and well written. It shows a maturity, and high level of decorum.
