I’m 23. Girls my age still are shy and expect the guy to approach and do ALL the work. I’ve wasted my time dating a few girls. Time I’ll never get back.

All have nothing to give. Harsh but true. I’m definitely an attractive guy. I may compliment a girl’s appearance but I never hear anything back.
I hear more from women 5 years older.

Like I’m a damn cool and fairly confident guy, I know my worth. I deserve better. I have more chemistry with girls I consider friends.

Though I don't personally like the idea of dating or marriage, I think it would ultimately be dependant on what their worths are based on. And we all have different ways of measuring & determining that. And just like our ways of measuring, people change overtime as well. Making it very hard to find people that will be best for us in the long-term. Especially since we don't even know what we will be like in the long-term.

But nowadays, when it comes to longterm relationships, I think it's best to be strategic about it to get the most benefit. Stuff that focuses on what kind of person they are. That means doing important things like:

• Finding out their personality & character type and seeing if they would be someone good to hang around. Study them before fully letting them into your life. Find their weaknesses and strengths and really ponder them. I like to go based on the big 5 model.

• Finding out their goals & if their personality or lifestyle could take a major turn based on those goals. And if it did take a major turn, how would it affect you?

I also think it's good to know if our own goals are practical & reasonable. Because, oftentimes people don't self reflect when it comes to this stuff. They don't often ask &/or find reasons as to why they're not even worth dating. Which is a very important thing to do.

It's not worth dating 50% of females. You need to identify which ones are traditional minded and which ones are "feminist" man hater types. This isn't as easy to do as it sounds because some are very clever at faking. And beyond that you'd also need to tell which ones are a good match for you. It's easiest & most rewarding to focus on making yourself the best person you can be and little to nothing on finding a woman. You'll eventually have more options than you know what to do with. I should say, it's not as easy as it sounds until you can wrap your mind around the fact that what seems like a minor/insignificant thing is actually a big red flag. You have to reprogram your mind to view the world the right way and then you'll get it.

Rejection will be different for a girl because there will always be guys that waiting in line to ask you out.
