  I know some guys don't like shy girls. In high school the guy I liked said he did not like me back because I was shy and not outgoing enough for him. Guess who contacted me right after high school and wanted to get with me? HIM!

  If you like shy, kind girls you have to be the one to ask her out and sometimes initiate contact. I'm one of those and while I like to think I'm good looking and I'm pretty sure I have a good personality I almost never notice anyone flirting with me and if I do I'm to shy and uncertain to say anything even if I'm really into them. Especially if I'm really into them. When I'm actually on a date on what I think is a date I'm even worse. My palms are sweaty and clammy, I can't maintain eye contact for more than two seconds without blushing and or getting lost in their gaze. My knees shake, I usually have to repark my car like 3-6 times because I missed the spot entirely. I trip over my own feet and over my own words. I would never dare to touch the other person without them initiating contact out of fear of scaring them away. To sum it up I know shy girls are cute but we can be a hassle and most people give up on us because they think we aren't interested in them so if you want one you just have to take a leap of faith and keep jumping until she's comfortable enough with you to make the jumps herself.

  good, I've heard way too many people say that they're interested in those who are shy only to not be brave enough to approach them, give up on them, or not be understanding of them when they're acting shy and anxious
